Job Title: Senior Driver Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced driver supervisor to lead our airside team on shift. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership capabilities, be willing to supervise and coordinate team members, and ensure the delivery of service to all customers in line with operational schedules and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate team members in the customer delivery department
  • Ensure productivity and performance criteria are met in the designated area of responsibility
  • Assist supervision of catering trucks within a designated work area to ensure they reach and load-up all aircraft safely and on schedule
  • Lead by example and perform all duties of a driver
  • Supervise, train, and induct workers within a designated work area
  • Organize and coordinate work within the designated work area
  • Perform administrative and reporting duties as required
  • Follow up on any discrepancies and ensures all flight deliveries are correct
Requirements:

The successful candidate must demonstrate:

  • Leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills necessary to efficiently meet performance requirements in a changing work environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must hold and maintain possession of a valid ASIC card
  • Must hold and maintain possession of a valid Australian state/territory MR or greater driver's license as well as the authority to drive airside
  • Preferred qualifications include Fork Lift license, First Aid Certificate, and WHS qualifications
  • Flexibility in working around flight schedules is essential (7-day per week operation)
  • A clean Police Record as part of mandatory checks required
