We are seeking a highly skilled Transformation Project Coordinator to join our Deakin Transformation team.

Role Summary

This role is responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of transformation projects and initiatives by coordinating logistics, supporting the Project Governance Framework, and taking a proactive role in supporting project deliverables across the program lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Support a diverse range of transformation activities, including change projects, organisational design initiatives, and workforce-related programs, ensuring effective coordination and alignment with program objectives.
  • Planning and Implementation: Assist in planning, implementing, and tracking project activities to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with program goals. Provide support with scheduling meetings, coordinating tasks, and maintaining project timelines.
  • Logistical Coordination: Coordinate the logistical aspects of projects, including organising meetings, workshops, training sessions, and events related to project deliverables.
  • Progress Tracking: Track the progress and completion of project deliverables to ensure they meet established quality standards and timelines, maintaining accurate documentation, progress reports, and action items.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key liaison between the Deakin Transformation team and stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication, responding to inquiries, providing updates, and addressing concerns promptly.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Skills: Strong organisational and coordination skills to manage complex projects, track deliverables, and meet deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail. A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to anticipate challenges, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Experience: Experience in supporting transformation initiatives, including change management, organisational design, or workforce-related programs. Experience drafting reports, briefings and other documents.
  • Working Conditions: Working with Children's Check (Employee) or willing to obtain.
