Job Description:
">We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as a Therapeutic Kinship and Carer Caseworker. This role is critical in providing comprehensive support to kinship and foster carers, ensuring that culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) children and young people in statutory care have the best possible placement.
">About the Role:
">As a Therapeutic Kinship and Carer Caseworker, you will be responsible for conducting regular home visits, offering support and training, and monitoring placement standards. You will also conduct carer assessments, negotiate placement agreements, and develop Placement Care Plans.
">Required Skills and Qualifications:
">To be successful in this role, you must possess:

- A relevant degree in Social Work, Social Science, or a similar field;">
- A minimum of three years of experience working with children, young people, carers, and families in child protection or OOHC services;">
- Proven experience supporting and mentoring children and young people in out-of-home care;">
- A well-developed understanding of child development and trauma-related models;">
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;">
- The ability to work collaboratively with our team and external partners.">
