About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team at WesTrac. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving Laboratory sales and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire new customers and nurture existing relationships to drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with the Product Support Manager to ensure seamless support for current customers and efficient onboarding for new clients.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our market share.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop sales plans to capitalize on these opportunities.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a sales role, preferably in the Used Oil Analysis industry or Construction/Mining Equipment industries.
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities to achieve tight deadlines.
  • High level of initiative and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse data and compile reports.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
  • Sound communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Trade Certificate post trade experience in a relevant field.
  • Tertiary qualification in a related field (e.g. Commercial, Marketing or Business disciplines).
  • Previous experience within an Account Management role or Customer Support role.
  • Knowledge of Construction and Mining Equipment or related industries.
