Job Overview

This position involves providing desktop support services for a hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving user inquiries and issues in a timely manner, as well as managing helpdesk jobs according to local procedures.

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and/or industry experience are required for this role.
  • The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a Desktop Support/Helpdesk environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of hardware and software systems is essential.
  • Experience with Windows-based applications is also highly desirable.

Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this position. Ability to work effectively under pressure is also crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing timely and effective desktop support services.
  • Managing all helpdesk jobs in accordance with local procedures.
  • Receiving new IT equipment into the department and establishing it in the IT Asset database.
Requirements:
