**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Service Coordinator. This is a full-time opportunity based in Darwin, NT.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating an effective service system response to high and complex needs, and trauma. The position requires strong collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with and work effectively with the broader service system to ensure quality of services, efficiency, and prevent unnecessary statutory intervention.
- A bachelor's degree with specialization in social work, child development, psychology, or a related subject area. A master's qualification is preferred.
**Key Responsibilities**
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with community service organizations, local government, and state government agencies;
- Providing support and guidance to families and children with complex needs;
- Collaborating with other professionals to develop and implement effective service delivery models;
- Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
**Benefits Package**
Our organization offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
- An hourly rate of $60.27 to $62.79 as outlined in the SCHADS Award Level 7, dependent on qualification and experience;
- Salary packaging – we can help you to maximize your salary packaging up to $18,550 per year;
- Paid training that is industry-specific, including therapeutic crisis intervention (TCI), sanctuary, and cultural awareness training;
- Supportive environment – monthly supportive meetings with your direct manager.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A valid and current driver’s license;
- A satisfactory criminal history check;
- A valid employee working with children check;
- A valid and current NDIS workers screening check (for risk-assessed/client-facing roles). We can assist successful candidates with their application.
