About This RoleWe are seeking compassionate and experienced Home Care Support Workers to provide high-quality care to clients in their own homes.
- Assist with personal care activities such as showering, grooming, and maintaining personal hygiene
- Support clients with meal preparation, household cleaning, laundry, and ironing tasks
- Accompany clients on shopping trips, medical appointments, and social outings
- Monitor and report any changes in a client's health or behavior, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Deliver care in accordance with individualized Care Plans and maintain accurate documentation
- A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Certificate III, IV, or Diploma in Aged Care, Home Care, Disability, or related field
- A current First Aid Certificate
- Excellent verbal communication skills to engage effectively with older adults
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
- Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care
- Flexibility in hours and approach, with availability aligned to client needs
- Ability to review and accurately document care plans
- Experience using mobility aids and assisting with client hoisting (an advantage)
