Job Title: Senior Environmental Advisor

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Environmental Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the effective management of environmental aspects within our operations.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a professional with a strong background in environmental science, management, or engineering. As a Senior Environmental Advisor, you will be responsible for leading and managing environmental projects, conducting inspections, investigations, audits, and reporting under relevant frameworks. You will also analyse and manage environmental data to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Environmental Management: Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, policies, and guidelines.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage environmental projects, including scope development, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse and manage environmental data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Reporting: Conduct inspections, investigations, audits, and reporting under relevant environmental frameworks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Management, or Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in environmental management within heavy industry or port settings.
  • Strong understanding of environmental legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and consultative skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels.
