Accounts Receivable Officer

This critical role plays a pivotal part in supporting our Financial Accounting team, ensuring timely recovery of outstanding accounts while maintaining respectful and empathetic communication with residents, families, and staff.

The ideal candidate will possess strong debt collection experience, balancing financial precision with emotional intelligence, particularly when dealing with sensitive situations involving aged care clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and maintain Debtors' Reports across all business lines
  • Monitor overdue accounts and initiate follow-ups
  • Liaise with internal AR teams and external debt collection agencies
  • Communicate recommendations and outcomes to management
  • Manage the Debt Collection inbox efficiently

Additional responsibilities include processing payments via phone and bank statements, accurately allocating payments to appropriate accounts, assisting residents and families with account queries, responding to general AR-related inquiries with professionalism and empathy, providing backup support to team members when required, and handling correspondence, filing, and other administrative tasks.
