Project Coordination Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Major Projects Engineer, you will be responsible for the delivery of capital expenditure projects that are large, complex and/or high risk.

You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure project planning, execution and delivery meet the required standards. This includes preparing tenders, claims, RFIs and variations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project timelines and assist in preparing project documents.
  • Collaborate with end-users, regulatory bodies and financial managers to integrate requirements and expectations.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate project risks and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant laws, regulations and policies.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree or nearing completion in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or equivalent.
  • Similar experience within the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Negotiation and problem-solving skills to effectively manage project stakeholders.
Working Conditions
  • A temporary position available for 24 months with flexible working hours.
  • A competitive salary range AU$77,652 p.a. with progression to AU$90,957 p.a. on demonstrated competencies.
