Our university is seeking a skilled specialist to coordinate the formation and negotiation of research contracts with industry, other universities, funding organisations, government departments, and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will prepare and project manage research-related contracts, ensuring timely completion. They will also review and draft contract recommendations on risk management and compliance to enable informed decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and managing research contracts
  • Project managing contract reviews, drafting, and execution
  • Reviewing and drafting contract recommendations on risk management and compliance

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or
  • Extensive experience and management expertise; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in commercial principles, including risk analysis and project costing, as well as excellent planning and organisational skills.
