Facilities Operations Manager

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer to oversee a variety of maintenance tasks and checks across the facility ensuring a safe environment for residents and employees.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance program, ensure at all times that risks are appropriately managed and in line with policies and procedures, identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, and maintain all documentation as required by our policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe environment for residents and employees
- Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance program
- Manage risks and identify opportunities for improvement
- Maintain accurate documentation
Requirements:
- General maintenance skills including patch & painting, minor carpentry, minor plumbing, changing of light globes, minor repairs to wheelchairs, beds and various resident equipment
- Ability to operate as part of a multi-disciplinary team promoting an engaging and inclusive environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and empathetic communication skills
- Customer service focused and committed to achieving optimal outcomes
