The Assistant Team Leader position is a leadership role that requires strong guidance and direction of the mailroom team.

This individual will take on a leadership position, overseeing disputes, complaints, and issues in their first instance. They will ensure our workforce maintains high standards of presentation, behavior, and performance.

Exceptional standards must be maintained for both mailroom and workforce presentation, while ensuring each employee completes their duties efficiently and correctly. The Team Leader will work closely with Operations and Project Management to manage day-to-day operations and drive team performance.

The Team Leader will also perform general mailroom duties, including sorting inbound mail, preparing outbound consignments, and making mail runs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining mailroom cleanliness and presentation
  • Resolving minor issues and disputes
  • Employee performance management
  • Preparing management reports
  • Liaising with suppliers

Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are essential for this role. Experience in a similar leadership role and ability to work independently as well as part of a team are required.
