We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administration Officer to join our team at the South West Aboriginal Medical Service Ltd (SWAMS). As a key member of our administrative team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our GPs and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to our Medical Practitioners, including managing appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling correspondence.
- Assist in onboarding new employees and coordinating student placements within our medical facilities.
- Collaborate with our team to create and manage medical rosters, ensuring adequate coverage and maintaining accurate records.
- Maintain accurate and timely information provision to the medical workforce, including disseminating critical updates and policy changes.
- Ability to achieve high-level customer service to internal and external clients.
- Ability to take on administrative tasks and work independently.
- Advanced computer skills with experience and competency in all Microsoft programs.
- High level of verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills, along with an ability to adapt to changing needs.
- Current 'C' or 'CA' class driver's licence.
- School hours, 4 days per week or full-time.
- $35.17 per hour plus super.
