About the OpportunityThis entry-level position provides valuable experience across Council's engineering functions and supports infrastructure, assets, and broader community development. You will assist with investigation, planning, design, and delivery of public infrastructure and civil works while gaining practical experience and training.
Key Responsibilities- Support various engineering teams within the City Services Directorate.
- Assist with research, analysis, and presentation of information.
- Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and continuously improve processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Contemporary knowledge of civil engineering areas.
- A current Class C driver's licence.
This temporary full-time role (two-year contract) comes with a competitive salary range plus 12% superannuation. One day per week paid study leave is provided.
