Job Description:

This is a senior leadership position that oversees the strategic management of ICT infrastructure. The incumbent will be responsible for leading and overseeing the operational management of all NSW SES ICT infrastructure, including desktops, MFDs, network, cloud, and server operations.

The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The incumbent will need to promote collaboration with other ICT units and business stakeholders to ensure NSW SES infrastructure supports digital transformation and builds an IT environment that is stable, innovative, and future-focused.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing networks, servers, and end-user devices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in core infrastructure operations and service delivery processes.
  • Knowledge of cyber security and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong familiarity with modern workplace environments and hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Azure AD (desirable).
  • Possess relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience.
