Job Overview

This role involves working as a research specialist to support the development and implementation of a sustainable work model. The successful candidate will be part of an ARC-funded project focused on building a contemporary post-covid model of sustainable work.


The role is designed to enhance our capacity to create more equitable conditions to address current age and gender inequities. It will involve using existing data sets and collecting new data to inform the development and testing of a new contemporary model of work.

The position requires a strong academic background, preferably with a PhD in a relevant discipline, and evidence of experience in research and evaluation. A record of publications, conference papers, and/or reports, along with experience in the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, are also essential.

The ideal candidate will have effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. A demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team in a cooperative and collegial manner is also required.

Relevant research software expertise, such as Stata, NVivo, and EndNote, is necessary for this position. Please refer to the Position Description for other duties, skills, and experience required.
