About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Research Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our research unit, you will provide high-level research and administrative support, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in your field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting research activities by contributing to project management, ethics applications, embedded trials, and the development of innovative assessment tools.
  • Conducting literature searches, maintaining EndNote libraries, assisting with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, and contributing to grant applications and research dissemination.
  • Engaging with key stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and individuals with lived experience, to facilitate collaboration and ensure research is impactful and widely recognised.
  • Participating in departmental and campus-wide seminars, meetings, and committees while upholding the University's values of integrity, professionalism, and inclusivity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy, Health Science, Biomedical Science, Medicine, or a related discipline.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey research findings and present at national and international conferences.
  • Experience in engaging with diverse stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and individuals with lived experience of disability.
  • Uphold professionalism, integrity, and discretion, with a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical research practices.
