About the Job:

  • Pipeline Development: Create production-grade tools for automated data flows, including archiving, cataloguing and analysis of sensitive human omics datasets.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new software features and integration points.
  • Quality Assurance: Design and execute test plans, lead code reviews and maintain high-quality codebases.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work with diverse stakeholders, including business analysts, data managers and security specialists, to align technical solutions with project needs.

About You:

  • You are a skilled Developer with a passion for data pipelines and systems integration, possessing strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to high-quality engineering in a collaborative environment.
  • You may also hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
  • You have extensive experience developing robust Python code.
  • You demonstrate deep understanding of ETL processes and data processing.
  • You possess experience with Unix/Linux command-line utilities and shell scripting.
  • You show commitment to continuous learning and excellent communication skills.
