Financial Project Specialist

The Project Accounting and Treasury Manager will play a critical role in the financial success of the New Windsor Essex Acute Care Hospital project.
Job Description:- Manage all project accounting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Infrastructure Ontario project standards.
- Collaborate with internal Finance team, project vendors, and consultants to ensure accurate and timely processing and reporting of expenditures related to the NWEACH project.
- Manage invoices, payments, and understand project reporting compliance requirements for the project.
- Track actual expenditures relative to multi-phase major capital project budgets.
- Model and predict cash flow requirements of the project relative to planning grants, funding, and other cash sources and needs.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline such as management, economics, or business administration.
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation with current membership in good standing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- 2-5 years' experience as a project accountant or similar.
- Knowledge of construction projects is essential.
- Advanced proficiency in cash flow forecasting and management is essential.
