Clinical Coding Team Lead

This is a key opportunity to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our clinical coding team. As a highly experienced coder with exceptional technical skills, you will be responsible for ensuring that all clinical data is accurately coded and meets the required standards.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in health information management, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will have the ability to interpret and report on complex information rapidly and accurately, as well as communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

As a leader in our clinical coding team, you will play a key role in driving the delivery of high-quality services and improving patient outcomes. You will work closely with other teams to ensure seamless integration of services and identify opportunities for process improvement.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management or Clinical Coding
  • Proven experience in clinical coding, with a strong understanding of ICD-10-AM/ACHI/ACS
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and report on complex information
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Leadership and management experience, with the ability to guide and develop team members
