Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Line Chef to join our dynamic team in regional Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity for you to work in one of our remote villages on a permanent basis and find the lifestyle that works for you.

About The Opportunity

You will be working as part of a supportive kitchen team to deliver an exceptional food and dining experience for our residents and guests. Our village operates 24/7, providing accommodation and facilities for up to 150-3000 people at any given time.

As a Line Chef, your role will involve preparing and cooking meals to high standards, managing stock levels, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. You will also be responsible for training and supervising junior staff members and contributing to menu planning and implementation.

This is a full-time position with a 14:7 roster, offering two weeks of work followed by one week of leave. You will be required to live on-site during your working weeks, enjoying all the benefits and facilities available to you.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) and relevant industry experience
  • Unlimited working rights within Australia
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and maintain high standards of quality and safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to train and supervise junior staff members
