Job Description

As a highly skilled and motivated mechanical fitter, you will play a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and safety of our equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to service and repair specialized equipment used in various applications, ensuring that it is functioning at optimal levels.

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will work closely with our team members to manage workshop operations and coordinate activities with branch personnel. Your exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will be essential in delivering high-quality results that meet the requirements of our extensive client base.

One of your key responsibilities will be to conduct calibrations on a wide range of measurement equipment used in industry. You must have a strong understanding of asset management techniques and processes to effectively manage customer equipment life cycle expectations.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years industrial experience within mining or other Pilbara industries (or similar)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Current RTIO site inductions (desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and train apprentice fitters and/or technicians
  • Familiarity with computer software products (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook)
