Immediate Start | Mechanical Fitter Wanted | $65-$74.75 / hr (inclusive of 25% casual loading)

Our client has an opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join their well-established team on a casual basis located in the Kewdale area for an immediate start, offering a competitive hourly rate

This opportunity follows a rotating shift roster :

  • 2 Day Shifts : 6 : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM, $65 p / hr flat rate (inclusive of 25% casual loading)
  • 2 Night Shifts : 6 : 00 PM to 6 : 00 AM, $74.75 p / hr flat rate (inclusive 25% casual loading and night shift penalty)
  • Followed by 4 Days Off

Key Responsibilities :

Preventative maintenance of beverage plant equipmentPreventative and breakdown maintenanceFabrication and repair of new and old partsMachining of new parts and repair of old partsReporting of all worksWorking in a safe manner

Successful Candidates will possess :

Certificate III or IV in engineering mechanical fitting - essentialA valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for commutingCurrent High Risk Work LF license or willing to obtainWorking at heights and Confined space - essentialHave flexibility with working hours and availability to work weekends when requiredStrong punctuality and time management skillsPrevious experience with beverage or Fast Moving Consumer Goods process knowledge - desirableContactable work references with the last 12 monthsRights to work in Australia
