  • Roster: 12-hour shifts, Days/Nights

Downer's Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for Casual Mechanical Fitters for a FIFO role located at Port Hedland in Western Australia with work commencing Early July. You will provide your expertise in maintaining fixed plant within a shutdown project environment, ensuring that work is completed safely, effectively and to the required standard before moving to our casual pool for other works around Northern, WA.

About You

  • Site Proficient: Have experience working as a Mechanical Fitter within a heavy industry environment
  • Technically Proficient: Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks with a Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
  • Team Oriented: Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills
  • Workplace Safety: Committed to safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
  • Site Qualifications: Hold full working rights in Australia, MSIC Card, White Card, Fire certificate, Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets (within 5 years validity)
