Leadership Position in Youth Justice Precinct

The primary objective of this role is to lead the day-to-day management of a youth justice precinct.

This position involves championing operational reform across key areas including program delivery, infrastructure use, rostering, and staff development.

  • Provide specialist advice to senior leaders on strategic, programmatic, and service delivery issues.
  • Strategically plan and manage the delivery of highly specialised operational services in a complex environment.
  • Assist in workforce planning and effective deployment of personnel resources to meet priorities and objectives.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated expert knowledge and experience within a Correctional, Youth Justice or relevant Human Services environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leading and managing a team to deliver services in a complex environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Key qualifications for this role include demonstrated expertise in a Correctional, Youth Justice or relevant Human Services environment. Additionally, in-depth knowledge of current legislative requirements pertaining to a custodial environment is essential.
