Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Fisheries Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the sustainable development, management and conservation of South Australian fisheries through consultative engagement with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies for the sustainable development and management of South Australian fisheries.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including commercial and recreational fishers, environmental groups and other government departments.
  • Provide advice to senior executives on fisheries management issues.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in fisheries management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of delivering results and achieving goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
