Senior Dam Safety Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Dam Safety Engineer to support our clients' facilities in ensuring their safety and compliance with the latest industry standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking civil/geotechnical/tailings dam design, conducting geotechnical analyses using various software packages, and developing a thorough understanding of tailing deposition modelling.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Civil/Geotechnical/Tailings dam design
  • Geotechnical analyses using various software packages
  • Tailing deposition modelling
  • Geotechnical and environmental site characterisation
  • Development and management of instrumentation monitoring systems
  • Project/task management and proposal preparation support
  • Preparation of engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, technical specifications

This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication and writing abilities, and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment.
