The role of an OSHC Coordinator is to lead a team in providing high-quality before and after school care and holiday programs for children. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to build strong relationships with parents and staff, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of children.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the childcare or OSHC industry, but this is not essential. They will be willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check and a First Aid certificate. The coordinator will also have the opportunity to mentor their team and develop their skills through training and professional development.

The OSHC Coordinator will work closely with the school community to ensure that the needs of all children are met. This includes developing and implementing engaging programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, as well as maintaining open lines of communication with parents and staff.

The coordinator will also be responsible for managing compliance documents and other administrative tasks. They will work collaboratively with the area manager and the head office team to ensure that all requirements are met.

Requirements
  • Completed or currently undertaking a recognized qualification in childcare or a related field.
  • A current Working with Children's Check.
  • A willingness to obtain a First Aid certificate.
  • Previous experience in the childcare or OSHC industry (not essential).
