About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Delivery Manager to join our team at Coates Group. As a key member of our delivery organization, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of IT and business solutions to clients across the globe.

Key Accountabilities
  • Strategic Direction: Provide strategic direction aligning product vision, engineering roadmaps and client needs, ensuring the smooth delivery of software programs of work
  • Project Management: Lead the delivery of strategic technology projects and programs, ensuring effective management and realization of benefits
  • Methodology and Governance: Establish and promote best practice methodologies and standards for enterprise delivery, including Agile frameworks, continuous improvement methodologies, and governance practices that enhance quality, efficiency, and speed
  • Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitor project performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions to ensure the success of projects and programs
  • Financial Management: Ownership of Budget and forecasting for enterprise delivery initiatives including optimising resource allocation, controlling costs and ensuring financial sustainability across projects
  • Technology Roadmap: Develop, implement, and maintain technology delivery objectives, goals and roadmaps aligned with Coates' strategy and vision
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage regularly with executive leadership and key stakeholders to align on the status and roadmap of the Software portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and outcomes
  • Risk Management: Oversee and manage Technology Line 1 Risk, ensuring that all technology processes, including development and release cycles, comply with risk management frameworks and internal policies
  • Team Leadership: Leadership of the Business Analysis Practice and establishment of project delivery teams with internal and external partner resources, ensuring the effectiveness of onshore and offshore delivery models where applicable
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Delivery Manager with a strong track record of delivering large and complex technology portfolios. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 15+ years in Program Management and/or technology delivery with 5 years of experience leading large and complex technology portfolios
  • Experience in Agile, Waterfall and hybrid program delivery models
  • Demonstrated experience working with Agile principles including an understanding of the values of individuals and interactions over process and tools
  • Extensive experience in running major programs with matrix reporting
  • Demonstrated ability in driving strategic vision and translating organisational goals into delivery strategy, aligning initiatives with business objectives
  • Experience engaging with C-suite executives and presenting executive reports
  • Experience managing budgets of $20m+
  • Experience managing a large portfolio of up to 5 diverse projects of work
