Empowering Communities through Connection Coaching

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Connection Coach to join our team in Launceston.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine service response and resource distribution.
  • Provide information, advice, and support to service users, including access to flexible funds and short-term accommodation.
  • Coach and support individuals to develop and progress an initial response or action plan for keeping or finding housing.
  • Facilitate access to specialist services, mainstream opportunities, networks, and resources to build social capital.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in conducting assessments using an Advantaged Thinking practice approach.
  • Ability to develop, leverage, and sustain relationships across sectors to maximize outcomes.
  • Knowledge of housing information, community resources, and referral points.
  • Understanding of Tasmania's current housing market and the difficulties facing people on low-income.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, with ability to manage an assigned caseload.

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake our structured Safeguarding Children Training program upon commencement.
