Job OverviewThis role will lead the delivery of our community development strategy across Tasmania.
You'll support staff in community engagement, drive major projects and programs, and shape initiatives that truly make a difference.
Key Responsibilities- Implement community development strategy across Tasmania
- Support staff in delivering impactful community engagement activities
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with government bodies, community organisations, research institutions, and private sector stakeholders
- Design and deliver major projects and programs focused on community building, economic participation, and social enterprise
- Contribute to grant applications and tender submissions related to community development
- Use initiative to improve existing services and develop new, innovative programs
- Five years' experience in developing and implementing community development programs
- Strong project management skills - including design, development, implementation, and coordination
- Knowledge of the social enterprise sector
- Experience in the social or community housing industry (highly regarded)
- A proven ability to build strategic partnerships with external organisations
- A deep commitment to the right of every person to quality housing and a sense of belonging
- A current driver's licence
