We are seeking a highly skilled Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, occupational therapy, or psychology.

Job Description

The Support Coordinator will play a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives by coordinating and facilitating access to supports and services.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Assessing the needs of clients and coordinating support to meet their requirements.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement in existing services and processes.
  • Evaluating and prioritizing marketing opportunities.
  • Conducting reviews of client plans and service agreements.
  • Maintaining documentation of contacts and interactions with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Researching and managing a range of supports across multiple providers to suit client needs and preferences.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in social work, occupational therapy, or psychology.
  • Minimum 6-12 months of experience in a related field.
  • Certificate IV in Disability Services or Human Services equivalent.
  • Working with Children Check (blue card) and NDIS Screening Check (yellow card).
  • Current Queensland Drivers Licence and access to own vehicle for work purposes.
  • Strong knowledge of the NDIS and its benefits.
  • Competence in oral and written communication with high-level proficiency in Information Technology systems.
