Steel Fabrication Operative

We are seeking a Steel Fabrication Operative to fill a key position within our production team. The selected candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery to cut and bend steel into structural shapes.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Setting up and operating machinery to produce rebar shapes according to specifications
  • Monitoring the production process and making adjustments as needed
  • Following all safety protocols and procedures
  • Conducting pre-start checks on equipment and machinery
  • Reporting faults and maintenance needs to management
  • Quality checking product to ensure it meets production requirements

To succeed in this role, applicants must possess:

  • Physical fitness and ability to operate machinery
  • Interest in machinery and production processes
  • Ability to follow safety procedures
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
