Steel Processing Operator - Metal Fabrication Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Steel Processing Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines and press brake equipment to execute production plans on the day shift and afternoon shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate laser cutting machines to produce high-quality steel products with precision and accuracy
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment adhering to all safety protocols
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and optimize workflow
  • Read and interpret drawings and understand MRP systems to ensure accurate processing
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending safely and efficiently
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience using laser cutting machines or press brake equipment
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment with metal fabrication knowledge
  • School metal material knowledge and understanding of CNC operating/fabrication/programming/cutting/folding
  • Punctual, reliable, and hardworking with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Physically fit to perform the physical requirements of the role
  • Proficient computer skills with ability to learn new software
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Forklift license essential for operations
