Lead Steel Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Supervisor to oversee the erection of steel structures on sites. This is a challenging role that requires expertise in managing fabrication teams, ensuring quality standards and adhering to company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the fabrication of steel structures including welding, assembly, and finishing.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of processed parts.
- Verify structural steel compliance to drawings at various stages of fabrication and welding.
- Perform structural and general-purpose welding in steel.
- Oversee site installations and maintenance work, providing guidance to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
- AQF Certificate III in Fabrication Trade with at least two years of on-the-job training or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of work experience as a metal fabricator.
- Must be willing to travel.
- Must be able to work unsupervised.
- Must be able to lead a team of 8-12 people and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Must be able to read construction drawings and complete all required work.
- Must have all necessary on-site welding tools.
- Must have a reliable vehicle.
