Family Protection Professional

This role involves working closely with vulnerable children and their families in Northern NSW.
The job requires a high level of sensitivity and respect when interacting with parents, family members, children or young people. You will work collaboratively with other agencies and engage in complex problem solving to develop safety plans and complete risk assessments.
- Work with clients who have complex needs and are at high risk.
- Be involved in court processes, including the preparation of documents and attending court hearings.
This Identified role is open to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander persons only.
Key Requirements:
- A relevant diploma or degree qualification is preferred.
- Applicants without a relevant qualification must have at least two years' experience working with vulnerable children, young people and their families.
- Ability to build positive relationships, supported by excellent communication skills.
- A valid driver's license and paid working with children clearance number are essential.
- Documented verification of Aboriginality is required.
