Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our receiving team as a Receiving Coordinator. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth receipt and staging of products.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for aiding the receiving team in putting away and staging product, ensuring stock is receipted on time based on key performance indicators (KPIs). They will work closely with the team leader to decide what needs to be put away and staged for sorting by delivery date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the receiving team to ensure timely receipt and staging of products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized inbound staging area to facilitate efficient unloading and sorting.
  • Develop an understanding of the delivery schedule to identify items requiring long-term storage.
  • Lead the team in staging products according to delivery date order using manifest data.
  • Accurately record items requiring quality control checks and any damage to items.
  • Ensure all stock is receipted into the system or transferred to the correct location using a radio frequency gun.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements.
  • Unload and reload trucks using a counterbalance forklift as needed.

Requirements:

  • Hold a current forklift license (preferred but not necessary).
  • Support the organization's objective of zero harm.
  • Comply with all workplace health and safety guidelines.
