Job Opportunity: Family and Youth Program Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Family and Youth Program Manager to oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services that address the unique needs and challenges faced by vulnerable families and youth.

This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to identify specific needs of vulnerable families and youth, overseeing the smooth implementation of programs ensuring they meet desired outcomes, and managing a small team of professionals providing frontline support to community members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Needs Assessment: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify specific needs of vulnerable families and youth.
  • Program Implementation: Oversee the smooth implementation of programs ensuring they meet desired outcomes.
  • Team Management: Manage a small team of professionals providing frontline support to community members.
  • Case Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate progress of client cases and facilitate case conferences and team discussions to develop comprehensive support plans for families and youth.
  • Partnerships: Cultivate and maintain partnerships with local agencies, schools, government entities, and community organisations to strengthen the network of support available to families and youth.
  • Grant Development: Assist in developing grant proposals to secure funding for family and youth programs.
  • Evaluation: Implement a robust evaluation framework to assess program effectiveness and impact.

Requirements:

  • Degree: Undergraduate degree in Social Work, Psychology or other related discipline.
  • Leadership Experience: Strong leadership and management experience within youth and families or community welfare.
  • Skills: Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and strong rapport-building skills, strong knowledge of case management skills and effective use of interventions, excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Qualifications: Proven ability to negotiate and resolve conflict with solution-focused strategies, highly developed organisational skills, high-level experience with MS Office and CRM systems.
