Program Coordinator Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Program Coordinator to support the design, implementation, and expansion of a multi-year formation program for high school students. This role will drive youth engagement and create meaningful service pathways.

This diverse position involves supporting program delivery, establishing evaluation frameworks, ensuring curriculum alignment, and fostering strong relationships with schools, dioceses, and education networks.

The successful candidate will ensure the program becomes the primary engagement tool for high school students statewide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, rollout, and scaling of the program across NSW
  • Develop a robust framework for monitoring, evaluation, and reporting on program outcomes
  • Ensure strong alignment with NSW secondary curriculum and safeguarding standards
  • Promote the program through strategic marketing, presentations, and public relations
  • Collaborate with schools, dioceses, tertiary institutions, and internal teams to grow the program
  • Identify and map volunteer opportunities in partnership with Volunteer Managers
  • Contribute to broader strategic goals and youth engagement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Education, Social Sciences, or a related discipline
  • Experience with the education system and developing programs aligned to secondary curriculum standards
  • Strong skills in research, program evaluation, and data analysis
  • Expertise in stakeholder engagement, public relations, and digital communication strategies
  • Exceptional project management abilities, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • High level of digital literacy, including proficiency in content development and digital tools
