About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Garden Village, a premier aged care provider. As a PCA, you will work closely with our Nurse Unit Managers, ENs, and RNs to meet the daily needs of our residents across three aged care facilities.

Your role will be diverse and varied, ensuring individual needs are met both physically and psychologically for residents of all levels of need. You will work as part of a professional multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance to residents in accordance with their individual needs and preferences.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident care and participate in regular reviews and updates.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aged Care (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience as a carer in aged care, preferably in a residential setting.
  • A genuine commitment to person-centred care and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and demands.
  • Availability to work a 7-day rotating roster, including evenings, night shifts, and weekends.
