Accounts Payable Officer - Exceptional Opportunity

As a direct report to the Head of Finance, you will be a highly organised professional who will form an integral part of the finance team.

This is an opportunity for an experienced AP officer to join a dynamic team within a stable company.

The role is responsible for:

  • Entering all supplier invoices / matching up purchase orders and reconciling monthly statements
  • Managing Supplier Invoices for 7/14/30 day account to be paid by due date
  • Preparing monthly payment runs for subcontractors and communicating remittance advices
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly Entry of Fuel dockets, usage and reconciliations against EOM Statements
  • Assisting in gathering information for EOM Accruals
  • Assisting in preparation for monthly, quarterly and yearly audits
  • Processing on charges as required and reconciling
  • Maintaining Purchase Order Metrics via ApprovalMax
  • Assisting and supporting the finance team as required

Requirements include:

  • Extensive experience within AP roles
  • Proven experience in a similar role with minimum 5 years' experience
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
  • Intermediate to Advanced Experience with Xero (preferred)
  • Strong customer service
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to work to deadlines and put in extra effort when needed
  • Approach their work with honesty and integrity
