Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Operations Manager to join our team. In this key role, you will play a pivotal part in providing strategic leadership and guidance to the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing corporate services functions and systems, including finance, HSE, and IT. They will lead a team of shared services managers and their teams across finance, IT, and HSE, ensuring seamless coordination and operation of these critical functions.

Key responsibilities include identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement, anticipating trends and risks, and engaging with stakeholders to enhance business performance. The ideal candidate will possess senior management or executive leadership experience, with a strong focus on quality delivery, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of shared services managers and their teams across finance, IT, and HSE
  • Seek out opportunities for innovation and improvement
  • Anticipate trends and risks and identify solutions
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders effectively
  • Oversee change management programs
  • Provide advice to executive leadership on shared services recommendations

Requirements

The successful candidate will hold tertiary qualifications in business management or finance, along with a Master's degree in Business Administration or equivalent. They will also possess relevant qualification or training in change management and project management, with senior management or executive leadership experience.

Additional requirements include experience implementing new technology and processes, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
