Operational Excellence Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to oversee the operational efficiency and optimisation of our school.

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and maintain efficient operational systems and processes that support student and staff wellbeing.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to plan and coordinate school events and campus management.
  • Operational Leadership - Whole School:
    • Directly manage casual staffing needs, including recruitment and allocation of cover lessons.
    • Oversee the resourcing and allocation of professional and operational staff across the school.
    • Manage the school calendar to support student and staff wellbeing while optimising learning outcomes.

This role involves leading various projects that contribute to the achievement of annual school goals, collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement solutions, and working cooperatively with the events team to minimise operational impacts on student and staff wellbeing.

As a member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing large-scale testing, coordinating examination timetables, scheduling and supervising examinations. Additionally, you will have oversight of traffic and parking within the school grounds and surrounds, as well as liaising with external providers and neighbouring communities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

A relevant tertiary qualification in Teaching and NESA Accreditation is essential. A postgraduate qualification in Operations or Operations Management is highly desirable.

You will also need to manage your own annual accreditation requirements, including fees, and provide guidance and support to staff regarding leave and relief processes.
