As a key contributor to our success, you will leverage your analytical expertise to interpret large data sets and drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage high-frequency data streams to optimize revenue analysis, spot bidding, and trading performance.
  • Develop and provide input into trading strategies, recommending dispatch offer pricing to maximize returns.
  • Support secondary market hedging efforts and foster relationships with potential offtake customers.
  • Identify opportunities to deliver value to shareholders through tailored products and services.
  • Procure long-term price forecasts for green products and energy markets to inform business decisions.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Possess a degree in Science, IT (Data Science), Commerce, Economics, or Engineering.
  • Bring prior experience in data analysis roles within energy market operations, compliance, asset operations, or asset management.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the National Energy Market or similar wholesale spot market structures.
  • Exhibit proficiency in Excel, including VBA macro-writing, SQL, and other database management/coding languages.
