Job Title: Quality Assurance Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Coordinator to oversee the implementation and maintenance of our Quality Management System. This includes procedures and document creation/revision, internal quality audits, management of customer concerns and corresponding corrective/preventive actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote the Quality Policy and measure quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
  • Manage the Enterprise Quality Management Software as Administrator and conduct investigations/internal audits and root cause analyses of quality incidents.
  • Lead a team of quality auditors (internal or external) when needed and ensure appropriate corrective/preventive actions are taken.
  • Prepare reports and maintain documentation of audit results and review at periodic intervals to track progress after the audit.
  • Assist in the implementation of new quality tools and track monthly metrics generated from the Quality Management System.
  • Monitor and advise on the performance/effectiveness of the Quality Management System and produce data and report on performance, measuring against set indicators.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • College or University degree in a Science or related program.
  • Good knowledge of continuous improvement and quality management systems and internal audit in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven teambuilding and leadership skills and able to work with operations, technical, sales and management staff.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills, and attention to detail; must be able to manage multiple tasks with the ability to work independently and to meet deadlines.
