Administration Support Officer Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Administration Support Officer to provide effective service delivery and patient-focused support to the West Moreton Health Virtual Ward.

The successful candidate will work in Ipswich, AU, and be responsible for providing timely and accurate information and assistance to clients and staff.

  • Have strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment and autonomously when required.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Positive and effective customer service.
  • Proficiency in internal hospital information systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Vaccinated against certain vaccine-preventable diseases (VPD).

About the Team:

The West Moreton Health Virtual Ward offers hospital-level care to patients in their own homes, avoiding traditional hospital admissions.

Patient receive regular check-ins to monitor their condition and can be transferred to a hospital if needed.
