We are seeking a skilled Mig Welder to join our operations team at Stratco, a leading Australian manufacturer and marketer of quality building and renovation solutions.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working 8-hour Day Shift and Afternoon Shift with overtime optional.
Location: Canning Vale, WA
Hourly Rate: $73,150 - $80,000 per annum based on relevant skills and qualifications
Key Responsibilities- Manufacture goods to the customers' requirements
- Tasks include interpret technical product drawings, MIG welding using mild steel and silicone bronze.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Operate plant and mobile equipment, including overhead cranes.
- Collaborate with team members, other departments and projects
- Participate in training in the use of specific items of plant and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Strict adherence to our critical safety rules and contributing to a safe working environment
- Essential - Welding experience of mild steel, galvanized products in both light and heavy gauges
- Essential - At least 2 years relevant experience working in a production environment
- Essential – AQF Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication)
- Commitment to producing quality products
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Sound awareness of safety standards and alertness of moving parts and people
- Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
