We are seeking a skilled Mig Welder to join our operations team at Stratco, a leading manufacturer and marketer of quality building and renovation solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for manufacturing goods to customer specifications, interpreting technical product drawings, and operating plant and mobile equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Manufacture goods to customer requirements
- Interpret technical product drawings and specifications
- Operate plant and mobile equipment, including overhead cranes
- Collaborate with team members and other departments
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to safety rules and contribute to a safe working environment
- Essential: Welding experience of mild steel and galvanized products in light and heavy gauges
- Essential: At least 2 years of relevant experience in a production environment
- Essential: AQF Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication)
- Commitment to producing quality products
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Safety awareness and alertness of moving parts and people
