About the Role

KPMGau is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager to join our SMSF Specialist Team in Parramatta.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the workflow management of a specific SMSF portfolio, ensuring exceptional outcomes and quality of work. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and reviewing compliance work files, reporting deliverables, and audit outcomes on each fund within their portfolio.
  • Liaising with clients, external auditors, ATO, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks and delivery of high-quality results.
  • Providing technical advice to clients on superannuation and taxation rules, ensuring accurate and compliant solutions.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, building trust and credibility through effective communication and service delivery.
  • Collaborating with other team members to achieve business objectives, contributing to a positive and productive team environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience in SMSF or a related field, preferably in a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm.
  • Strong understanding of Australian tax laws and regulations, including superannuation rules.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results, meeting deadlines, and achieving business objectives.
